I remember my dad showing me HTML when I was about 10 years old, and I despised it. That was my first experience in software development, and it made me stay away from it for years, even though I was surrounded by it. Then, I took my Intro to Java course in Bellevue College and found myself loving it. I would spend hours adding on to already completed assignments, obsessed with the capabilities I had. I continued my learning after the class, which opened my mind on how many of the technologies we use daily today are due to software.I am now a Junior attending University of Washington - Bothell pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Software Engineering. I love how I have plenty of opportunities to collaborate with my peers with group projects and assignments as we learn about new languages, algorithms, higher mathematics, and software development processes.Outside of school, I have a few group projects where we learn and apply technologies used in industry today, such as Spring Framework, MongoDB, React, etc.

  -Pitched and engineered a VR headset curating software that asks users questions regarding their class, budget, etc. and returns them a suggested VR headset-Researched, evaluated, and wrote about EdTech trends for the organization by comparing existing research made by the organization and comparing it to educator’s current interests and opinions-Created a portfolio of various resources to support educators with using and implementing VR in the classroom
