Current• Name of the Project : Riyadh Metro Project (Package #3) • Highway, Landscape & Streetscape works @ Line 6 Metro corridor – 17.6 Km o Upgradation utility piping – storm and sewer, new street lighting. Also hardscape – walkways, cycle track and landscape soft-scape works, irrigation works etc. • Viaduct/Bridge section with PSM, PCB and BCM Methods – 2575 mo Executed Viaduct Section – section with 68 Spans, 68 Piers @ 116 piles. Viaduct elevated section with prestressed PSM, PCB – 28m – 40m and BCM (96m span). Also constructed 2 stations with 40m & 20m spans cast-in situ viaduct with post tensioning. • Micro Tunneling works (TBM) for Storm drainage network connection. o Installed new 570m long Storm drainage Line (1400mm diameter pipe) between Municipality`s Box Culvert and the Storm Drainage network of Line 6 Using micro tunneling machine (MTBM)• Two Cut & Cover Tunnels with Emergency & Ventilation Shaft o 1460m long, 47 Box & Ramp Sections, 1753 Shoring piles, 17m depth• Two At Grade sections, Ramp with MSE wall and Abutment o 1381m long, 51 U-Sections, Ramp with Mechanically Stabilized Earth walls (MSE Wall) and abutment wall interface with Viaduct. • Two Elevated Stations o Elevated Station comprises of roof canopy, platform viaduct, concourse, concourse and platform enclosures, footbridges, entrance structures and two basements, dry and wet basements. o The platform viaduct is 20m-40m-20m long, three span simply supported post- tensioned concrete multi-cell box girder with deck slab continuity, supported on reinforced concrete Piers. o The concourse slab is a balance cantilever post-tensioned slab supported on central spine beam spanning between reinforced concrete columns/Pier spaced approximately at 10m c/c, the overall width of the structure is 16.9m.• One Park & Ride Building o Precast beams and hollow core structure with cast in situ foundations and columns.• Science Park Project part of Riyadh Metro Program
