As a senior engineer on the Web Core team I work to enhance developer experience, foster innovation, collaboration, and drive the future of web development at CVS. Some of my contributions include:- Deployed lighthouse server internally at CVS enabling engineers across the enterprise to track Core Web Vitals for their apps overtime.- Collaborated across multiple teams to develop deployment preview system, enabling application teams across the enterprise to iterate faster and better collaborate with product and design partners.- Refactored deployment preview GitHub action from yaml to typescript, unblocking work to improve the action as well as establishing an internal pattern for writing complex GitHub actions.- Established automated process for versioning, releasing, and publishing packages from our Web Core libraries monorepo, improving the velocity and ease at which we could serve our customers, utilizing GitHub actions, Turborepo, and Changesets.- Served as subject matter expert for deploying the teams applications using helm, Kubernetes, and Argocd.

- Architected a tech stack for a new product that enabled rapid prototyping by an engineering team of 2- Designed and implemented image upload service for our product’s content editor.- Designed and implemented a websocket server to enable real time collaboration in our content editor.

- Established frontend testing standards and taught fellow engineers modern frontend testing techniques- Introduced storybook into our component development workflow- Automated deployment previews for our frontend utilizing google cloud run- Researched the platejs library to enable our team to build custom plugins to improve the user experience of our content editor.

As a senior engineer I ensure guests have a quick, easy, and secure checkout experience. I serve as a leader on my team, helping provide technical direction, mentor more junior engineers, and onboard experienced engineers new to the cart and checkout space. I also like to do what I can to support my colleagues whether its rubber ducking or pair programing on hard problems, answering questions that require deep domain expertise, or finding innovative solutions to tedious parts of our developer experience.Some of my contributions include:- Improved testing & development experience by introducing storybook our teams workflow.- Improved functional test stability by using cypress which reduced our dependence on production services- Led my engineering team through a redesign of the payment experience- Implemented Apple pay using the Web Payment Request API, expanding the payment options available to guests- Improved development environment experience by automating nginx reverse proxy setup using docker- Implementing an improved Save For Later experience for guests in cart- Coaching, mentoring and onboarding interns and engineers rotating on our team - Providing technical leadership for the product team as we implement new features for cart & checkout

Worked on target.com cart and checkout experience making sure that guests can quickly and easily purchase their items. Some features I worked on include:- Order fulfillment summary in cart and checkout.- Improving functional testing coverage for cart and checkout.- Shipt pay per order functionality in cart and checkout.- Refactoring of cart and checkout front end architecture to consume new api contracts.

Made contributions to the spinnaker project to enable target to automate deployments of spinnaker components.

This team works on several projects throughout the semester to provide continued service to past clients, finish up lingering projects from previous semesters, and provide additional development man power for other teams in the clinic. As a team lead I manage communications with clients, schedule and organize all team meetings, delegate tasks, as well as work on software development for the projects.

I served as a Systems Intern for Cerner's remote hosting division. My responsibilities included a combination of front end and backend server work, helping administer updates, manage or create accounts, and troubleshooting.
