I found a bug when I was a kid in the original God of War game on PlayStation 2, where Kratos gets stuck in a cave with no exit, but later found out that an area of the cave where the exit is located was not loading properly. That was a fascinating experience for me. It was the first time I know that software is not perfect and bugs do exist! I remember telling my friends about it but I wasn't able to recreate the buggy state and show them. I later discovered that not being able to reproduce an issue is every software test engineer's life story.I learned later that I can test early access games and iOS betas with my Apple developer account. I found the testing and reporting process very fun and satisfying and I have been doing that as a community user tester since 2014.After I received my BS degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno in May 2021 I turned my passion for breaking software into a career and joined Gaming Labs International (GLI) as a test engineer. Before I started my career with GLI, I was working full-time while being a full-time student and gained 3 years of banking experience with Wells Fargo in sales, and another 2 years as a team lead at FedEx Office.As much as I enjoy finding bugs in other developers’ code, I equally enjoy writing code that doesn’t have them. My favorite programming topic is iOS development and the biggest and coolest iOS project I was a part of was my team's senior project at UNR. My team and I built an iOS-controlled robot that can follow you around and make sure you arrive safely to your car if you are walking alone on campus.I love learning new programming languages because modern programming languages have so much in common. Having a good understanding of one language will make learning other languages very intuitive and satisfying.I also love playing drums, video gaming, and archery and I daydream about visiting a kyudo dojo (or a kyudojo) in Kyoto, Japan.
