Presented analysis on completed projects performance vs. the Board approved metrics. • Developed a project economic evaluation tool for the new Spectra Liquid Division that its results are used in the presentation for Board approval.

Monitored TransCanada, Alliance, GTN, Williams PNW constantly for rates and projects.• Developed an Excel tool to calculate: netback from different supply hubs, and netforwards to the Pacific NW natural gas buyers. This allowed the company to evaluate the competitiveness of different pipelines in the region at any given time. • Predicted competitor’s project proposal including tolls before they were made public by creating a model that accurately represented the most possible outcome. • Successfully led a multidisciplinary team to develop a new service for Spectra’s BC transmission line. The service (alternate receipt and deliveries) proved to be a success with shippers as it helps them optimize their Firm Service and mitigate Interruptible Service charges reducing their monthly transportation bill.• Developed the rate design and tolls for four LNG pipeline proposals each one valued between $4 billion and $8 billion. Worked on the commercial terms of a LNG pipeline Project Development Agreement.

Developed databases to monitored industry activity such as land sales, well licenses and natural gas production by region. Provided periodic reporting and presentation on the state of the industry. Responsible for the supply forecast used by NGTL (TransCanada western system). • Created a new model for the natural gas supply forecast of more than 10 Bcf/d and over 900 points across Alberta and BC. The receipt point forecast was a key input into the rates model.• Completed analysis on the BC industry activity that was essential for developing the TransCanada BC strategy. Ultimately, this led to the successful expansion of TransCanada into BC.

Responsible for developing the commercial terms of the agreements with pipeline customers. This required creative ways to meet customer needs while keeping TCPL economically neutral on the contractual options being put forward. Created pricing models to support Business Development opportunities or regulatory proceedings. Responsible for the pipeline performance metrics reporting.• Worked in the TransCanada 2005 General Rate Application (GRA) were the company’s proposal was approved, even when it had opposition from some stakeholders. Supported the creation of alternative pricing models that were presented in the GRA. Supported the evidence TransCanada filed with the Board and answered many of the Information Requests required by the Board or other stakeholders. • Developed the Points to Point billing system, an Excel and Visual Basic program that was recognized by the Billing Department as a very effective solution to rapidly implement a new service while the billing system was enhanced to incorporate the new service.• Successfully worked with the Tolls, Tariff, Facilities & Procedures Committee (TTFP) Task Force on ways to enhance some of NGTL’s service attributes which provided customer with more flexibility in using their service.• Improved performance reporting by reducing report generation time by more than 50% while increasing accuracy.
