As an executive leader and a strategic thinker, I am focused on innovation and design thinking in hospital medical administration and accreditation, healthcare quality management, and hospital-wide project development. In the course of my career, I have brought in remarkable results as the head of Anesthesia and intensive care units in the hospital that I worked for, from 1998 till June 2021; where I have also occupied different positions as a medical director, hospital accreditation project leader, and president of elected medical committee.In August 2021, I started a new job in the GCC area in a major Governmental hospital in the Kingdom of Bahrain with a 1200 beds capacity offering secondary and tertiary medical services to more than one million of Bahraini citizens and residents. My purpose in life is to create change by better engaging physicians in the process of hospital management to meet the needs and the rapid development of the profession of medicine and healthcare system related to the sophistication and fast-moving technology of medical equipment and services that make the world a better and healthier place to live in. My passion for voluntary work, community involvement, and academic achievement has led me to be present in the board of trustees of the Beirut Arab University. In 2016, I gained more than 75% of physicians' votes in the presidential elections of the Lebanese Order of Physicians - Tripoli, where I have successfully implemented a 3 years' strategic plan and brought in radical reform to the organizational structure. I have proven my capability in delivering strong results in a breadth of situations with differing leadership needs: medical congresses organization, national and regional public speaking, the formation of new hospital design, and the implementation of management systems. I contributed to building multi-million dollar businesses from the ground up for NGOs and the private health sector. Previously, during the pandemic,I have initiated and implemented the COVID-19 task force crisis management plan for the North Lebanon governorate which was recognized by the ministry of public health and brought in millions of financial aid from international NGOs. I am an active member of many national executive committees: Lebanese National Committee for Hospital Accreditation, Accreditation Committee of the Lebanese Syndicate of Private Hospitals, Lebanese National Consultative Committee of Ethics, and the regional committee: GREM (Mediterranean Ethics Think Tank).
