Crawling to the finish line.Being a triathlete tests your ability to persevere under pressure and to perform at the highest level all while maintaining a smile.I always like to challenge the norm and tackle what everyone says is impossible. At the age of 16, I embarked on a journey to raise $100,000 for charity—long story short, everyone called me crazy. After a couple of pivots and failures, I managed to succeed. This led me to start a few more campaigns, which eventually led me to work with the Children of War Foundation, Oxfam, and a couple of other small NGOs.My philosophy is to take the path that no one dares to take, always tackling the hardest problems head-on.I have learned how to adapt quickly. Initially accepted into med school, I quickly realized it wasn't the right fit for me. From there, I pursued engineering for a year before transitioning to computer science. As a hands-on learner, I thrive when I can get my hands dirty and dive deep into practical work.I am fascinated by the power of technology, which has instilled in me a love for building products that make a difference in people's lives. I've worked at QuickFacts, the leading insurtech startup in Canada, which is expanding! Currently, I'm working at Genesys as a software developer and diving into the world of generative AI at Cognizant.Deep down to my core, I am a go-getter; I never give up no matter how hard things get, and I am always looking for a challenge.
