Current• Develop and manage material forecasts and production schedules to ensure timely availability of materials for production. Utilize data analysis and historical trends to make informed decisions and adjustments.• Monitor and control inventory levels to optimize stock and minimize excess or obsolete materials. Implement and maintain inventory management systems and procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency.• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials. Address any issues related to supply chain disruptions, quality concerns, or lead time changes.• Work closely with manufacturing and engineering teams to understand production requirements and adjust material plans accordingly. Provide support to resolve any material-related issues that may arise during production.• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in materials planning and inventory management. Contribute to the development of strategies to enhance overall efficiency and cost-effectiveness.• Analyze material usage data and generate reports to track performance metrics, inventory levels, and forecast accuracy. Use insights to drive decision-making and process improvements.
