Omar Mardini (he/him/his) is an arts and entertainment administrator. He is a first generation American originally from Lebanon but was raised as a third culture kid in Qatar. Omar has spent the last 2 years in the Executive Office at Theatre Communications Group, a leading organization for non-profit theatre. During his collegiate career in Boston, Massachusetts, he served as an Assistant to the Executive Director at Central Square Theatre, an Apprentice with the Ambassador Theatre Group at the Colonial Theater, and with Emerson Stage working in a variety of roles like an Assistant Director, Dramaturg, and Actor. Omar is an experienced leader in his community, using his roles to reevaluate and imbed diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility into the organizations he was a part of. In 2022, Omar was inducted into Emerson College’s Purple Key Leadership Society for his leadership, academic achievement, and commitment to civic engagement, and was the recipient of the President's Citation at the college's commencement ceremony. Omar holds a BFA in Theatre from Emerson College with a double minor in Business Studies and Entrepreneurship.
