I’ve always considered coding to be an adventure. I love being given a problem and doing all I can to solve it. Like any good adventure, there are usually obstacles along the way, but with hard work and determination, there’s always a way to overcome them. The feeling that comes after successfully tackling a problem is just fantastic.That's why I decided to take a shot at the IT industry. Specifically, coding was where I found the most joy and I'm happy where everything has taken me up to this point. Just like how I described what a good adventure is, there have been some rocky parts. I had taken Computer Science university courses right out of high school, but it just didn't feel right to me. There was a period where I simply was working retail jobs and it dawned on me that I wasn't utilizing my skills and creativity to the fullest. That's when I decided to give it another go and over two years later, here I am. Combining both educational experiences, I've had a taste of several different IT disciplines including Mobile App Development, AI Development, Networking, Web Design, Databases, various Agile Methodologies, Technical Writing, Algorithm Analysis, and the list goes on. I look forward to applying what I've picked up over the years and seeing what else I can learn along the way.Some languages I have experience in are:Java, C, C++, C#, .Net Framework, SQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JSON, XML, Ruby, Python, and Git/GitHub just to name a few. There’s truth to the fact that learning is a lifelong process and I’m always looking for the next interesting languages and methodologies to check out.
