I am a first-year law student at the University of Mississippi and a 2024 graduate of Vanderbilt University. Most recently, I worked this summer as a judicial intern for the MS 23rd District Attorney's Office. I aspire to work in the JAG Corps, transactional law, federal prosecution, and public policy. I plan to dedicate my career to strengthening and uplifting the South by fighting to improve public education, protect the middle-class workforce, and revitalize infrastructure in the Deep South. My grandfather's love for chess passed to me and with it his gentle yet firm sense of justice. I attribute the love I have for the legal profession to him, and in his absence, I enjoy finding him in the philosophies of many renowned judicial scholars, including Bryan Garner, Robert Jackson, and Charles E. Clark. In my leisure time, I enjoy fly fishing, boxing, coaching soccer, and reading. Please reach out if you would like to discuss applying to Vanderbilt University and Ole Miss Law, my professional experiences, opportunities to work together, or anything, for that matter. My Civ Pro readings can be shelved for a rainy day - I far more enjoy meeting new people.
