Scripted the creation & manipulation of OpenStudio building energy models (massing, fenestrations, HVAC systems, etc.) to develop the backend of an energy assessments web-app supporting code compliance checks.Generated energy analysis reports in OpenStudio, OpenStudio/SketchUp & EnergyPlus. Collaboratively researched Green Building Certifications (LEED, WELL, etc.) & reported on their feasibility & appropriate adoption process in the company.

Research conducted with Professor Renato Perucchio.I worked on analyzing the structural response to seismic activity for temples at the Bonampak ancient Mayan sites in Chiapas, Mexico. I learned about construction methods, practices and materials employed in various heritage sites.The work entailed use of several modeling techniques through photographs, architectural surveys, and several sources. The process involved developing computational models of materials using several mechanical behavior formulations, such as Concrete Damaged Plasticity. Additionally, there is application of kinematic analyses, and the use of nonlinear static and dynamic finite element models, for complex 2D and 3D problems in structural mechanics of quasi-brittle behavior.

As a teaching assistant, I led weekly recitations for problem solving training, I held office hours to individually assist students, and I held exam review sessions.Additionally, I supervised students in lab experiments and advised their report writing for.Finally, I curated learning material by creating quizzes, proctoring exams, and grading assignments.

(Formerly Simulation Innovation Lab)Performed mechanical testing to establish database with material properties of Polyvinyl Alcohol (PVA) solutions used in surgical simulations for surgeons’ practice.Assisted in using CT Scans to create patient-specific CAD Models for inner body organs, and prepared models for 3D Printing and readied them for assembly.Performed day-to-day clerical tasks in running the laboratory.
