I am a practicing emergency medicine physician with a strong interest in physician consulting. For eight years, I worked at a community hospital, where I assumed key committee and administrative positions inside and outside the emergency room. I also taught medical and nurse practitioner students and developed the first-ever curriculum for the hospital’s emergency department.In 2018, I stepped away from my permanent role to travel across six states and serve as a locum tenens physician at eight hospitals. During my year on the road, I got a close-up view of differenthospital systems and procedures of high-volume emergency departments. I also gained more insight into the unique properties related to critical access and acute care hospitals.After returning to Nashville, I accepted a staff physician at a teaching hospital, where I instruct residents and medical students.
