The greenfield Marjan increment program with a total Value of $12 billion reflects the Kingdom’s as well as Saudi Aramco’s commitment to reduce carbon footprint intensity by gathering best-in-class technology to increase the supplies of cleaner burning power generation sale gas, extract natural gas liquids (NGL) to supply as feed stock for petrochemicals, reduce emissions, and free up more crude oil for value-added refining and export. The experience is split between the corporate engineering HQ in Madrid as an Electrical Design Engineer and the construction site in Saudi Arabia as an Electrical Site Engineer. I am involved in the complete detailed engineering project cycle with the electrical engineering discipline in charge of Saudi Aramco’s Engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of Marjan Increment Mega Project - Tanajib Gas Plant (TGP). My responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Reviewed LV Switchgear Control schematics, general arrangements and Equipment specification.- Review and verify of Single line diagrams and load list.- Reviewed Substation Communication Cable schedules.- Verified Electrical 3D Model and Area investigation.- Reviewed technical offers from vendors.- Assist and verify site technical queries (STQs).- Coordinate engineering matters between Main office in Spain and construction site.- Coordinate with construction subcontractor team for plant grounding, cable laying and cathodic protection.- Assist in Factory Acceptance Tests.- Assist in various meetings including Project management meetings, 3D models reviews, Kick off meetings and vendor technical meetings
