Manufacturing Supervisor
CurrentResponsible for overseeing the daily supervision and training of manufacturing technicians, ensuring the efficient production of commercial products. Works closely with fellow supervisors to ensure the accurate and timely completion of cGMP documentation and the effective implementation of manufacturing procedures. Focuses on optimizing the use of materials, equipment, and personnel to consistently produce high-quality products. Key responsibilities include developing daily production schedules, setting priorities, and determining suite assignments to meet critical production goals. Reviews all necessary materials and batch records to support both shift and off-shift operations. Provides on-the-floor training to reinforce technical and cGMP standards, ensuring that operator training files are accurate and aligned with required processes. Collaborates with compliance specialists, QA, and Subject Matter Experts to resolve exceptions and keep training files up to date. Works with the technology transfer team to integrate new processes into the plant. Responsibilities also include reviewing new batch records and SOPs, supervising primarily skilled nonexempt and junior-level exempt employees, advising units or sub-units as needed, mentoring less senior personnel, and evaluating staff performance.
