As an intern at Klein Tools, I am allowed the privilege to experience what it is like to work in a distribution center. In my role, I spend time in each department of distribution gaining knowledge and working with experts of their field. At the end of my tenure, I presented an in depth presentation regarding process improvement, safety, and other categories responsible for continuous improvement of the distribution center. Connecting with Managers, Supervisors, and line employees has given me a great opportunity to work with and meet many knowledgeable and tenured people in this field. I am also able to connect with others outside of distribution that are able to give me insight and advice in terms of leadership, the workforce, and Klein Tools as a whole. Being able to make so many connections and experience so many different opportunities has been an amazing opportunity to participate in.

As a help desk specialist at the University of Houston, it was my role to assist students mostly with housing and residential life. I was in charge of answering phone calls as well as assisting students who may come into the office with any questions they may have. My role permitted me to not only answer questions, but lead students towards getting more involved and feeling welcome away from home.

As a head instructor at K-Tiger Martial Arts, it was my honor to teach and support students through the training of TaeKwonDo. As an instructor, I was able to assist incoming students who had no experience and help build confidence, discipline, and many other attributes that are crucial to a students success, not only in TKD, but in life. As a head instructor however, it was also my duty to go to various events and expos and promote K-Tiger to families and demonstrate how TKD can be beneficial to all. I managed a lead role in signing up and assisting students to our program; along with filing paperwork and creating student profiles for each student.
