Extensive background in Luxury Hotel Operations and Property Management with more than 15 years tenure with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company and over 30 years in the hospitality industry with experience in the US, Mexico and the Caribbean.Born and raised in Mexico City, attended the Polytechnic National Institute of Mexico and received a Bachelor’s Degree for Hotel Management. In Florida, I did some work towards my MBA at the University of South Florida and also held the CMCA and AMS designations for property management. I started my career at the Sheraton Maria Isabel Hotel in Mexico City and later moved to Cancun to join The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company.Moved to the U.S. in 1998 with my family and during my 15 years tenure with The Ritz-Carlton, I opened 8 different properties and moved thru the ranks holding senior management positions in the U.S. Mexico and the Caribbean serving as Executive Assistant Manager and Regional Director of Residences in different hotels and residential properties in Michigan, USVI, Florida and Texas. In 2007, I was recruited out of The Ritz-Carlton and after working for the KOR Hotel Group for a brief period as the General Manager for Villa del Sol (now The Viceroy) in Zihuatanejo, Mexico, I then returned to The Ritz-Carlton for my last post with the company as the opening General Manager for The Ritz-Carlton Club and Residences in San Francisco I now serve as the Managing Director, Real Estate for a private ultra high network family in Palm Beach, Florida
