- Leading development of high-altitude CubeSat internet relay, designing systems to enable robust, two-way internetconnectivity from the stratosphere.- Managing multi-subsystem integration and testing of RF communications, navigation, and environmental sensors,ensuring seamless operation under extreme conditions.- Designing real-time telemetry and telecommand framework, optimizing protocols to enhance data reliability and remotesystem control- Ensure aerospace compliance and EMI protection, implementing shielding solutions to safeguard system performance in high-EMI environments.

This team works on the CAN-SBX project which aims to collaboratively develop and design a payload as a team to investigate the impact of radiation exposure on transcription rates and gene expression in B. subtilis bacteria. The payload will be launched on a high-altitude balloon provided by the Canadian Space Agency. My role:- Lead the design and development of the electrical system for the payload. - Engineer the power distribution system for optimal performance and efficiency.- Integrate a Microcontroller to communicate and exchange data with external peripherals.- Lead the development and integration of firmware for seamless communication and data acquisition.- Develop the electrical protection system and the grounding scheme

Contributing to the engineering side of the Canadian Stratospheric Balloon Experiment Design Challenge (CAN-SBX).

- Researching board-level testing while maintaining documentation & standardsfor parts or PCBs created on the team library.- Debugged and tested PCBs using electrical test equipment such as oscilloscopes,multimeters, etc.- Applied several Electrical Engineering concepts while making design decisions.
