I am a mechanical engineer with expertise in structural mechanics, dynamics, fluid dynamics and their combined field fluid-structure interactions/aeroelasticity. This has been done using a combination of hand calculations, analytical models, design codes, and simulations using finite element analysis (FEA/FEM), computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and self-created tools that are now used by others. So far, I've used these knowledge and skills to analyze the response, stresses, fatigue life and damage in pipelines, cables, chimneys, towers, airfoils, turbomachinery components and space launchers and more.
