a) Prepares work orders regarding requirements of man power & materials including specifications and spare parts using ERP (CMMS) softwareb) Reviews equipment performance and recommends necessary Preventive Maintenance c) Plans major overhaul and shutdowns in coordination with the Operation and Maintenance execution, including forecasting manpower, spare parts, equipment and duration in order to optimize the utilization of downtime of Plantd) Prepares scope of work for the required supply and service requests and reviews with concerned specialist before proceeding for purchasing and conducts technical discussions with vendors. Carries out technical evaluations of the submitted offers and recommends the purchase of most suitable and efficient products e) Liaises with Maintenance Quality & Services Section regarding pending work orders awaiting shutdowns or materials in order to implement or initiate required maintenance as conditions/constraints permitf) Follows-up and coordinates with Supply and Contracts Department for timely procurement of spare parts. Provides support to Warehouse Inventory team and carries out incoming inspection/testing of spares/equipment’s as requiredg) Preparing instruments and control systems specifications, instruments and valves data sheets, RFQs, technical bid summaries, and purchase recommendations. Provides technical support, resources and information as per requirements for carrying out various maintenance activities. It includes supports to Engineering Services Department for modifications and reliabilityh) Participates in various meetings with Operation and Maintenance for the effective implementation of Maintenance Programs. Coordinates with Operations Dept for the weekly schedule preparation

Foxboro IA DCS Hardware & Software 2. Foxboro IA DCS Application Configuration3. Foxboro IA DCS Graphics4. Foxboro IA DCS Systems Backup5. Historian & OPC  Responsible Factory (FAT) and Site acceptance testing (SAT) & commissioning Group . Provide day-to-day Controls Directs, Supervises and participates in Field Process Instrumentation & Control Crude Distillation Unit & Tank Farm  Provide day-to-day Controls and Instrumentation engineering support to routine and non-routine maintenance activities. & equipment faults and Instrumentation engineering support to routine and non-routine maintenance activities. & equipment faults Monitor and ensure that all work carried out by subordinates is in compliance with HSE Regulations, Maintenance Procedures and Operation  Follow up with Material Dept. to ensure required availability of spare parts and consumables materials for Field Instrument & Control System.  Participates in Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Planning & Administration Group  Supervise implementation of modifications and new installations by contractors in the plan areas Participates in Real Time Database System (RTDB) Maintenance & troubleshooting.  Prepare & develop PM & overhaul plan for field instrumentation & control system in Crude Distillation Unit  Assist in preparing Section annual plan and budget  Develop and keep Field/ control systems reliability and availability over plant life span Projects: 1- CDU (Crude Distillation Unit) DCS Upgrade projects: Mar- 2011Manage &Supervise DCS upgrade project, from Foxboro IA series V6.2 to V8.5, Preparing Contract &review technical agreement , Factory and Site acceptance testing, Start up, technical discussion , documents approval from vendor & commissioning .
