• Provide direction, leadership and mentoring to Maintenance Department’s staff to and continuous coaching to maximize capability of the individuals and to meet the short and long-term goals.*ensure that the technical team is actively engaged in supporting the planning and operational activities of the Production Department.* Implement strong preventive maintenance systems to reduce down time.* Specification, selection, installation & commissioning of all machinery .• Budgetary management –responsible for the management of the plant repair and maintenance (R&M) budget.• Working together with the manufacturing functions to ensure that all engineering KPI’s are achieved.• Continuous improvement of engineering ways of working to ensure improved equipment performance. • The implementation of TPM • Responsible for maintaining and improvement of all engineering assets and developing an asset care strategy.• Support continuous improvement projects and initiatives to drive operational excellence and effectiveness to improve performance and maximise value utilizing Lean principles.• Ensure awareness of industry trends and practices to advise on opportunities for investment in plant, engineering and maintenance practices• Create an engrained culture at the site that supports the minimization of unscheduled production downtime and the maximization of operational efficiency.• Identify the plant’s critical equipment and instruments and develop the spare parts program.• Generate equipment maintenance strategies (predictive and preventive) based upon Vendors recomendations and Studies results.• Develop and monitor standard maintenance metrics: MTBF, MTTR and equipment availability.• Manage the design and installation of new processes and equipment, and the maintenance and upgrading of existing equipment.• Ensure that all projects are completed within approved budget, on time, technically correct; and in compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.

* As part of the Management Team, i am responsible for the attainment of the highest possible level of plant and equipment maintenance, reliability and availability.* Formulating and implementing plans to ensure that all plant and equipment receive regular preventive maintenance to ensure safety and reliability in operation. Thereby I am supporting the achievement of the Company’s production and product quality targets.* Jointly responsible for the achievement of Production, Quality and Cost targets.* Advice to Management on need for plant, equipment and process renewals based on due diligence, including technical specification and sourcing where needed.* Maintenance of high level of Safety and Security of Personnel and Equipment.* Build a strong collaborative relationship with the Production Department to ensure that the team is actively engaged in supporting the planning and operational activities of the Production Department.* Implement strong preventive maintenance systems to reduce down time.* Implement the concept of autonomous maintenance with in the team to support TPM activities.* Attend the breakdowns in time and reduce time losses.* Specification, selection, installation & commissioning of all machinery and equipment both mechanical and electrical within the plant.* Routinely evaluate the state of the Plant, equipment and processes and formally advise management of need for replacement.* Identify wasteful practices and system inefficiencies in order to drive down operating costsEnsure the maintenance cost is within the budget and establish creative plans to reduce it.

Achieve Departmental KPI's . Efficient Reporting to management.Proper plan /follow up and share of daily/weekly/monthly preventive maintenance for all the equipments .Share the complete packaging m/cs downtime with technical manager, Supply chain director within the department.Monitor the daily maintenance log book of the maintenance technician and check the daily PM activities by using Operators and technicians.Monitor the daily, weekly and monthly PM activities and analyze it.Managing Spare parts needed (order, utilize, monitor, store , and follow up ).Analyze the breakdowns, down time and External down time of the packaging m/cs and take necessary action on it.Maintain the complete m/cs, lighting, AC s, utilities of packaging building.Monitor the utilities report in shift wise basis as per the checklist.Reduce the down time of filling line by proper execution PM.Optimize the breakdown hours by doing proper systematic way of maintenance as par the Standard way of maintenance.

Monitor / highlight the consumption of RM & PM as loss and Utilization. Improvement program for Efficient usage of materials. Materials Utilization Variation (MUV) monitoring & reporting. Ensure product quality standards (Internal & Global). Optimize Operation plan according to sale & operation plan . Optimize manpower utilization (permanent & contract). Evaluate any related materials from operation side to accept or reject it. Following up material movement and issuing on regular report .Cost control and Reduction programs.Monitor an inventory of oil on daily basis and control a return and receive process of oil as well.Maintain & improve safety and hygiene in responsible areas.Train and improve packaging staff capabilities. Establishing work instructions for all packaging activities.Draw & communicate packaging staff SMARTs and development plan.

Responsible for all the filling operations in the shift.To ensure that all the M/Cs. are running smoothly and to take corrective actions in case of miss-operations.Insure that all section activities are going as per agreed system and methods.
