Major Responsibilities as SVP Finance includes,  Serve as the leadership liaison to the Board of Directors of SBE; effectively communicate and present critical financial and strategic matters at meetings. Led the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, providing insights to senior management for decision-making and performance evaluation. Led the implementation of financial systems, including ERP and other financial software, to streamline processes, enhance data accuracy, and improve decision-making capabilities. Developed and implemented finance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, mitigate financial risks, and safeguard company assets. Managed financial audits, coordinating with external auditors and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and accounting principles. Successfully managed DCAA/DCMA audits, maintaining documentation accuracy and addressing audit findings promptly to ensure contract compliance.Financial Planning & Analysis:  Monitoring and analyzing monthly operating results against budget and provide executive briefings to Management. Led financial management and oversight of government contracts, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and DCAA standards. Developed and implemented pricing strategies for different government contract bids, considering various contract types (FFP, FPIF, CPIF, CPFF, T&M) and according to their structures (CLIN/SLIN/LCAT’s). Also setup Ladder Pricing for Long Term Contracts. Oversaw the preparation of incurred cost submissions (ICS) and forward pricing rate proposals (FPRP) in compliance with FAR and CAS regulations. Implemented and managed Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) to monitor project performance and ensure cost and schedule objectives are met by periodically update of programs EAC’s (Expected at Completion) - Actual incurred cost + ETC (Expected to Complete).

 Preparation and Submission of 3 Year’s Business Plan. Preparation and Submission of Annual Fiscal Year Budget of Business Unit. Preparation and Submission of Quarterly Rolling Forecast after every quarter. Review and timely Submission of monthly Flash Results. Finalization and Submission of accurate Monthly Financial Statements (MIS Pack) on time. Review of monthly financial statements and provide explanation on variance analysis to Management in Monthly Financial Review Meeting. Finalization of Annual Statutory Accounts. Managing and Responsible for ensuring year end External Audit and also periodic internal audit requirements. Manage credit portfolio, facilities include general and project specific lines for structured loans, overdrafts lines to meet working capital requirements, discounting of invoices (PPCs), bank guarantees, letter of credits (sight / usance), FATR, FX lines etc Maintaining relationship at appropriate levels with local and international banks for meeting the Company financing requirements. Decision making for capital expenditures, calculation of pay back and return on investments. Provide technical support to contract /execution team to the matters relating to finalization of payment terms (with clients / suppliers), establishment of back to back LC’s & guarantees etc. Review of commercial Bids/contracts and providing inputs on the profitability etc. Managing a team of 26 Finance Personnel and ensuring that competent financial staff is in place to meet all of the requirements for financial reporting & control. Team member (Coordinator) of SAP (ERP System) implementation.

 Preparation of Project Budget, Latest Forecast & Balance Cost to Complete. Submission of monthly financial statements of Project and provide explanations on the variance analysis to BA Financial Controller in Monthly Financial Review Meeting. Responsible for cash flow management to ensure the smooth operations at project site. Also looking after banking facilities, both funded and non-funded, inline with project financial needs. Projects Monitoring, analysis for deviations and remedial actions for improvements. Monitoring of Assets and Inventory count down at regular intervals. Manage smooth Internal & External Audit at Project Site.

 I have developed the Financial Reporting Structure / Financial Package (Monthly Financial, Business Plan, Budget, Forecast and Feasibility Package) of the Company. Participation in the preparation of “Financial Control Manual”.  Consolidation of Business Area Financial Statements on monthly basis. Consolidation of Periodic Group Financial Statements. Group-wide responsibility for tracking, monitoring, reviewing and updating all individual business plans and performance scorecards for business as well as support divisions. Provide accurate and timely financial reporting on projects, with a clear line of communication to departments to establish the root cause of variances and recommend areas for improvement. Infer information from Financial reports which will assist with Forecasting and Senior Management with decision making Business analysis reports based on Industry comparison, change management and benchmarking.
