 Plant and operations manager  Experienced in the recycling and renewable energy industry as well as in the Industrial field  Lean Practitioner + Lean Expert certified by Lean-Agile Israel Management of all plant operations, from intake of the materials to monitoring product quality, process improvement, and streamlining production output P&L management and monitoring of the company's managerial reports congruent with field work and improving process efficiency on the manufacturing floor Direct management of 6 shift managers and indirect management of 100 employees (production, purchasing, logistics, HR, safety, engineering) Management of the entire supply chain – from purchasing, production to the identification of customers in Israel and overseas, and management of the export process B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering• Meeting the plant's operational targets (sorting and separating organic waste); annual production of 100K tons of waste and 1MW/H energy by an anaerobic process (revenue turnover of approx. NIS 12M p.a.).• Managing sub-contractors – cleaning, maintenance, and conveying crews.• Recruiting teams of employees (from all disciplines), including professional on-site training, instruction sessions, individual and welfare management, and assistance in complex situations at the plant.• Leading projects on energy innovation and efficiency – exploiting economies of scale (pioneering addition of materials to the recycling process). • Directly responsible for the sale of the plant's products and export management (PET), including management of all contacts with overseas customers.• Negotiating with vendors and locating suppliers worldwide for the purchase of equipment and spare parts.• Setting KPIs, and assimilation of work methods and process improvement using management methodologies such as Kaizen, and Lean.• Manager of the Safety Officer, the plant Safety Committee; designing training sessions and improving work policy and procedures.• Leading the plant streamlining process (increasing output vis-à-vis savings) – employee development and empowerment, managerial reserve, and adding maintenance workers by outsourcing.• Interaction with the Regulator (Ministry of Environmental Protection).
