Procurement Engineer
CurrentEnsure the procurement of materials and components for electronic devices from domestic and, when necessary, international suppliers.Identify potential suppliers by conducting supplier assessments and continuously monitor the performance of existing suppliers.Manage PCB production processes, procure PCB components, and collaborate with subcontractors providing serial production services.Ensure the selection of accurate and suitable components by reading and comprehending technical documents (datasheets).Research and evaluate alternative suppliers and products to optimize production costs.Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities by conducting cost analyses in serial production processes.Implement quality control processes for PCB components and materials, ensuring compliance with quality standards.Manage supplier and procurement processes in accordance with QMS 13485 (Medical Devices Quality Management System) standards and update as needed.Regularly generate supply chain data and reports, sharing them with upper management.Prepare budget forecasts for machinery, equipment, and R&D productions related to R&D projects and manage corresponding procurements.Manage budgets and procurement needs for projects like TEYDEB (Technology and Innovation Support Programs Directorate).Conduct post-production cost analysis to monitor costs and identify improvement opportunities.Contribute to budget planning by creating cost forecasts for the production process before the finished product stage.Ensure the timely and budget-conscious fulfillment of needs to guarantee smooth operation of production processes.
