• Built a virtual testing environment for DOOSAN H2515 collaborative robot using MATLAB and ROS 2.0 that enabledpre-deployment testing and accelerated lab operations• Developed isoparametric mapping of the robot workspace using OpenCV with 0.04 mm precision• Programmed a Path Planning Algorithm for Automated Fiber Placement (AFP) using Python as a research project• Designed an AFP compaction roller end-effector in SolidWorks, equipped with pneumatic force/tow tension control

• Designed belt press machine components such as brackets, frames, pneumatic components and performed detailed FEA further producing fabrication drawings with intensive DFMA for the manufacturing team• Reverse engineered a complete hydraulic system and optimized the design to facilitate the functionality of the belt press machines based on the client requirements• Produced assembly drawings of the belt press machines with appropriate GD&T and worked with the Senior Engineers to draft Operation Manuals for the clientele• Conducted field visits to the workshop to assist the fabrication and assembly team and present status updates at the corporate meetings

• Performed a detailed analysis on the given datasets containing images of the surface of the moon with an objective to categorize safe landing surfaces for spacecrafts by performing image processing using TensorFlow and OpenCV with Python• Led a team of 6 students to develop, test and validate the algorithm ; delegated the team operations and reported to the mentoring team• Presented the final project to a panel of astrophysicists and earned 93% accuracy rating
