This was a dynamic and changing role. Brought in to lead a team that was being created to service Oculus Events, I worked closely with the Marketing as the IT producer for all events. I then transitioned to an engineering role once the team gained stability, and began to create an IT infrastructure to service the newly created organization. • Lead imaging and provisioning of PCs and Phones for Oculus events, working with developers to make event based deadlines for titles on the show floor• Work with Producers and developers on a daily basis, verifying show-ready titles and aiding in creation of different pipelines for events. • Notable shows include gamescom, PAX, Oculus Connect, GDC, Sundance• Created a mobile and PC imaging platform to cater to the demands and pace of the marketing organization. This position entailed all Network, Database, Server Administration, and Helpdesk for the department.• Maintained Linux Mail Server running SendMail. Created user accounts, upgraded and configured SpamAssassin to limit spam and reduce false positives. Installed and configured email clients for both Mac and PC• Maintained relational database for research projects/educational programs on Windows SQL Server. Ran SQL queries for researchers and study investigators. Maintained front end data entry applications hosted on local IIS Servers. • Maintained 3 Linux web servers running a LAMP configuration. Websites written in php/html, with sites ranging from streaming services, static web pages, and registration/form websites.
