Hi, my name is Miguel Pinheiro, I have been a professional programmer for about 4 years, but my life as a programmer goes way back.I always considered programming a very powerful tool, be it creating an app that worked as remote to my monitor so I don’t have to get up to turn the screen off when I’m watching some show late at night from bed, trying to solve the problem of reading in vehicles by using smartphones accelerometers to compensate the shaking or using very sophisticated deep learning algorithms that performs automatic speech recognition to mute curse words in vídeos automatically, you name it, I have always tried to think about ways that I can help make peoples lives better using technology. So having this is mind, every time I have the oportunity to work in some company I always try understand the business so I can try to be creative and think about solutions that can help peoples lives or the business itself and not just be another machine.I have professional experience working with Python and Golang to create ETL pipelines and API’s to serve machine learning models. I have worked with GCP my whole professional life and I know about the most common services used to create an application like Compute Engine, App Engine, Storage, BigQuery, Run, Scheduler, PubSub, Atlas MongoDB and others.I also have experience working in relatively large projects (10_000 lines) , being the last one that I worked on one of those which I developed all by myself.But I’m not all about work: I also like playing videogames with my friends, reading books, watching comedy shows and spending time with my cats.I guess that’s all, feel free to contact me anytime you want!
