ACG Worldwide Capsules ranks first in Asia and categorize second in the World in terms of hard manufacturing gelatin and Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC) capsule shells. It has been a great opportunity to work with the continuous improvement team on the ‘HPMC Standardization’ Project. I had practical learning about the six-sigma tool. Vital duty during the project:• Documented the whole capsule manufacturing process from beginning to end.• Operated the mapping of solution preparation.• Prepared the data collection plan of the sub-processes and collection of the templates.• Maintained the record of collected data in the analyzable format.• Coordinated with chemists and workers to solve challenges faced while data collection.• Monitored the processes and the impact of changes implemented.
