ABE1 (AW/SW) Air Department V-2 Catapults. Operated and performed maintenance on steam catapults, barricades, arresting gear, and associated equipment ashore and afloat; operated catapult hydraulic systems, retraction engines, water brakes, jet blast deflectors, deckedge and Integrated Catapult Control Stations (ICCS), and jet blast deflector control panels; arresting gear engines, sheave dampers, deckedge control station, and associated equipment; performed aircraft handling duties related to the operation of aircraft launching and recovery equipment.

ABE2 (AW/SW) Naval Air Station Lemoore- Air Operations. Responsible for the operation of the airfield, providing services and support to the Naval Air Station, tenant and transitting aircraft. We also provide fire fighting functions - both structural and rescue and conduct shipboard fire fighting training. Include Emergency E-28 arresting gear, and optical landing systems fixed and rotary wing aircraft.

ABE3 (AW/SW) Operate, maintain, and perform organizational maintenance on catapults, arresting gear, barricades, and associated flight deck launching and recovery equipment.
