For the last 20 years (since 1994), I have been working at the South African Embassy in Egypt. This was an excellent opportunity to learn from a well experienced team how to establish and sustain a positive working relationships with Egyptian Government Departments and the Egyptian Public. My tasks were to assist Diplomats in successfully building, maintaining and sustaining the new culture and Foreign Policy of the Rainbow Nation. Diversity and respect for the "others" is the cornerstone of our work philosophy. Many projects were well executed throughout the years: Joint Bilateral Commissions, State Visits, Ministerial Visits, Charity Events, World Cup 2010 Campaigns and many functions.

Gulf Air was a fascinating opportunity to see and feel the various cultures of the world. Customer service and satisfaction in the sky is a very challenging experience. First aid and safety of passengers is what goes on constantly in the minds of the constantly smiling faces in the sky.Apart from general duties and several Safety and First Aid courses obtained, I was nominated by the Management of Gulf Air to participate in the following:• Special flights carrying Bahrain's Royal Family, High Ranking Government Officials, disabled passengers and refugees.• Represented Gulf Air in the World Travel Market held in the United Kingdom in the years 1990 and 1991• Participated in the Inaugural Flights by Gulf Air to Iraq, Singapore, Australia and South Africa.• Participated with Gulf Air interviewing and selection committee in hiring 5 Egyptian Flight Attendant in 1992.• Selected to be amongst the first team of Flight Attendants to be trained on the Airbus A320 fleet in Amman, Jordan and provided on-the Job training to the newly trained Flight Attendants.
