• Responsible for the crude export operations.• Negotiates with EGPC to secure the cargos window dates and quanities achieving the preferences of the marketing team at Houston to get the best sales price.• Coordinates with the ship owner, broker, buyers and terminals to ensure proper crude loadings procedures at the Egyptian terminals and follow up the delivery to the discharge ports complying with the crude specicifcations in the sales contract.• Makes certain of obtaining all the cargo documents full and correct from the terminals and providing them to the buyer and our financial department to issue the invoices. • Investigates with the terminal and/or the operating company in case of any discrepancies in crude quality or quantity between what is actually loaded on tanker and what is mentioned in the sale contract, being proactive before the buyer’s claim to avoid demurrage.• Nominates an inspection company for each cargo and follow up on crude specifications during the loading process. • Coordinates with the terminal and our marine agency at El Hamra if the buyer has any additional or uncommon requests regarding inspection. • Monitors and tracks inventory of storage tanks and our crude balance position after EGPC’s transfers of our entitlements. • Works with Commercials team to solicit and secure our rights to export otherwise selling to EGPC ensuring US Dollars payments and LC duration to comply with the concession agreements. • Stays abreast of the Domestic Crude Market for opportunities to negotiate and trade with EGPC.• Responsible for some contract administration like tank storage agreement.• Maintains active memberships with professional organization(s) that relate to the petroleum industry.• Develops marketing intelligence to evaluate the sale prices proposed by EGPC in case of domestic sales. • Enhances economics of crude sales and transportation.• Works with Commercials team in determining the OSP price used in valuating our sales and cost recovery.• Builds, develops and maintains data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics that support key business decisions.• Manages and optimizes processes for data intake, validation and mining as well as modeling, visualization and communication deliverables.• Performs, oversees and guides a range of management responsibilities, aligned to business needs including planning, budgeting and forecasting reports.• Leads and develops a highly trained, motivated and efficient team with a strong focus.
