During the period of my internship:I provided medical treatments such as administration of vaccines and medications for poultry.I monitored the sales of poultry and poultry products.I managed a brooding process for 800 chicks with less than 3% mortality rate through the use of improved biosecurity measures.I raised the birds for a period of 6weeks to a market weight of 3kg for over 70% of the birds.I managed a layers pen of 3000 capacity and recorded increased egg production throughout the entire period.
