Omolola Faleye is a Beauty Entrepreneur and an Expert within the Beauty Management and Trade industry with over 20years’ worth of experience in dynamic roles across industries. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Abuja, a certification in Innovation and Strategy from Harvard Extension School & a Member of International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE)She specializes in creating trade, education and consumer events for the makeup and beauty industry. Omolola leverages her knowledge of project planning cum management, her years of exposure to the intricacies and dynamics of the beauty industry and her passion for the beauty industry to help beauty businesses and entrepreneurs build profitable and successful brands. Omolola is the Founder and Creator of Africa’s largest Makeup and Beauty Trade Show-The MakeUp Fair Series (TMUFS) The platform which has hosted 116 successful events across 13 major cities was created with the vision of revolutionizing the beauty business in Nigeria by providing a credible and vibrant trade platform for industry professionals and businesses to expand exposure and increase sales. TMUFS is West Africa’s premier beauty tradeshow and a direct response to the non-existence of beauty tradeshows curated exclusively for beauty industry. Omolola, a YouWin awardee identified this gap during her YouWin grant application in 2012 and to serve this need, she created the platform which has since grown in leaps. Omolola’s career as an entrepreneur began when she resigned from her position in Project Management at an IT/ICT company and became the brand representative for Sleek, an international makeup brand in Nigeria. In 2008, the brand named her Best PR Distributor in recognition of her outstanding sales & marketing effort and in 2009 became the Managing Partner for Sleek Franchise Abuja. Her commitment to excellence and her passion for the beauty industry have been repeatedly recognized. She received the LLA100Women award in 2017, an award that was given in recognition of the Most Inspiring Women in Nigeria. In 2017, her business was recognized by SME100 as one of the Most Innovative Female-Owned businesses in Nigeria. She was a nominee for the Beauty Entrepreneur of the Year by Genevieve Beauty Awards in 2016. She is trained in Business Analysis from Heels and Tech, Business Management from Daymond John Academy; An executive certification in Project Management from Project Management College, UK.
