My mission is to make all of manufacturing better by engaging people, optimizing processes, reducing waste, increasing efficiency, and improving quality-quality of product for customers and quality of life for employees. I do so by leading and coaching cross-functional teams and leaders to find what matters and focus manaically on it. To "keep the main thing the main thing" like Steve Covey said. I help teams implement lean initiatives, such as setup reduction, workplace organization, standardized work, just-in-time, cellular production, visual management, and poka-yoke methods. I also develop and deliver lean training programs and facilitate organizational learning and continuous improvement. As a result of my cross-functional leadership and expertise, In the past, I have supported revenue growth from $75 million to $160 million, while increasing margin from single digits to well above industry standards. I have led the development of a $200 million CAPEX, 400,000 sq ft greenfield manufacturing facility. All while overseeing the LEAN program for three manufacturing facilities.I currently as an operations manager at Pentair's flagship site in Sanford, North Carolina.I am passionate about building high-performance teams that operate with unity of purpose, ownership, and engagement. I believe that leadership is about pulling, not pushing, and that people are the most valuable asset in any organization.
