Omotayo Akeem is an I.T development consultant with more than 7 years of cross-functional experience and expertise in the Technical Industry, he provides in-depth knowledge and experts in Networking, Software and Solution Design Research to enable clients work smarter. He brings passion to his work and establishes strong client relationships based on trust, collaboration and delivered results. Akeem is a serial novel software researcher with proven success of technical operations across boards. He has held key positions with firms within the Consumer, Media, Engineering and I.T sectors such as 3D Impact Media West Africa, Nigerian Society of Engineers, Coca-Cola, Contour Global, LeadSpace, Apgee Associates and Passion-Incubator. He holds a B.Tech in Computer Engineering in Ladoke Akintola University of Technology and other relevant courses with YESP, IBM GEM, Africa Management Initiative, Lagos Business School and Microsoft in Technical Operations. In his networking and security capacity, he Designed, Configured and Maintained the I.T infrastructure for Contour Global Solutions, LeadSpace and First City Monument Bank (HubOne). He is an active volunteer of Slum2School, ReadySetWork, Asabe Shehu Yar’Adua Foundation, JAN, Kiddies Digest, ReadySetWork, teaches code-school for Egret Media during holidays, a mentor with the Lagos Innovate Initiative. Akeem is the Founder of HiKey Limited (An ICT firm), co-founder of Supremarts Limited ( An AgricTech company) and Klariot Africa (An all-African fashion brand and store).

ReadySetWork is an employability and entrepreneurship program aimed at preparing final year students of tertiary institutions in Lagos for immediate entry into the workforce as employees and employers of labor by equipping them with market-aligned knowledge, soft skills, business tools, and a mindset reorientation to the world of work.An initiative of the Lagos State Ministry of Education, in partnership with a network of stakeholders including Corporate Nigeria, Lagos State-owned tertiary institutions, and training partners, ReadySetWork is aimed at addressing the gaps in the skill set of graduates of tertiary institutions in Lagos State, and curtailing the high level of graduate unemployment in the State. This is to be accomplished through a strategic intervention of thirteen weeks of intensive training in work-based and entrepreneurial skills acquisition.The project launched its pilot edition in 2016, training 500 final year students from 3 tertiary institutions- Lagos State University (LASU), Lagos State Polytechnic (LASPOTECH) and Lagos State College of Health Technology (LASCOHET). A total of 472 students graduated from the programme, and we were successfully able to place 197 of these students in internships and apprenticeship opportunities in various corporate organizations including PwC (PricewaterhouseCoopers), GTBank Plc., FCMB, Total, Access Bank Plc., SystemSpecs to mention a few.
