In this regard, I toyed with my 1st vocational training project on 1st May 2003. It's success and attendant good results, led to the formal opening of an FSD training institute in August 2005. Foundation for Skills Development under my leadership has formed local and international partnerships to develop the growth of vocational, technical and entrepreneurship education enlightenment and training for small business owners – MSME’s.These partnerships ensure that training curriculum is regularly updated to meet international standards and covers skill acquisition in relevant and up to date vocational, technical and entrepreneurship areas of business development.We have introduced many new projects and the most recent one is the Electrical Installation Program 2014 in partnership with Schneider Electric. Another very successful and recently introduced programs is the women in micro, small and medium enterprise (MSME) seminars which holds enlightenment seminars to train women with small businesses.The program started in 2010 and has had ten (10) successful seminars with over 200 women in attendance at each event.The training institute for our Vocational, Technical and Entrepreneurship work is situated in our own premises at 9, Acme Crescent, Crescent, where training goes on Mondays to Saturdays.
