I started my career in 2004 as a billing and credit control officer in Telnet Nigeria Limited and subsequently joined Guaranty Trust Bank Plc in February 2007 as a financial control officer.The past 17 years of my career has been an interesting journey so far. With the technological disruptions everywhere, technology is something that keeps evolving and there is always room to acquire new skills. Effective June 2019, my journey into financial technology and Innovation kicked off. I am optimistic about the career change as I strive to learn new things and broaden my horizon.I have over 12 years of financial control experience at Guaranty Trust Bank Plc which cuts across management reporting, financial reporting, regulatory reporting, tax reporting, and strategic related job functions.I led various teams within Financial Control Division ranging from Management Reporting, Group Reporting and Tax Reporting. I also served as the liaison officer whereby I coordinated annual CBN/NDIC Risk Based Examinations and other regulatory audits i.e., Federal Inland Revenue Service, various State Inland Revenue and External Audits.In 2019, I was redeployed to Fintech & Innovation Division of Guaranty Trust Bank as the head of business development, where I worked with the tech team and was responsible for coordination and management of projects i.e. from idea conceptualization to product launch stage. In November 2020, I was nominated as the Finance Team Lead to work with top management staff of Guaranty Trust Holding Company‘s Payment Company to commence the strategy of its payment startup company.I am highly organized, detailed-oriented and able to lead team members to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
