Currently, working for execution of NEW ENERGY Complex, involving Solar Panel manufacturing, H2 economy and Carbon capture.Involved in execution of ~7 billion USD Gasification plant. Part of the core process team of the project, with responsibilities to execute following packages right from technology selection to design to commissioning & start-up:- Gas cooling & clean up- Steam network- Utilities (Cooling tower, Effluent treatment etc.)- Sour water system- Hydrogen- Sulfur recovery- Syngas to SNGJob involved technical bid evaluation, best technology selection, review of HMB, PFD, PID, Controls, Equipment & instrument datasheet, SP3D model, hydraulics, HAZOP, FAT, C&E, pre-commissioning, start-up & stabilization.Also responsible for:- Utility balance & integration of J3 gasification plant- Dynamic Simulation of Steam network in Unisym platformBefore RIL, was in 6+ yrs in GE-Energy (Bangalore) with following experience:- Process engineer in GE-Gasification: Simulation, PFD, PID- Developed steady state models of CO Shift, gas cooling, SRU, SNG in Pro-II- Co-authored an excel platform for quick simulation of IGCC, which involved interaction among various simulation platforms like pro-II, Promax, gate Cycle. Proved to be a milestone for technology evaluation, FEED studies & Inquiry order projects. Awarded Six Sigma certification (Green Belt) for same.- Part of US-govt sponsored research program on "Carbon Capture in Gasification". Got 2 patents.- Co-initiator of Biomass Gasification technology, which now is a full fledged business in GE. Involved in Biomass technology evaluation & selection. Developed IISc technology to a next level by series of pilot scale experiments & innovation workouts. Got 6 patents in the process.Process simulation: Pro-II, Aspen, Unisim, Hysis, ProMax, HTRI, KG Tower.
