Hello, I'm Om Madan Raikar, a Chemical Engineer with a passion for unlocking the potential of the Process Industry. My journey has been a relentless pursuit of knowledge and an eagerness to optimize systems. Proficient in Aspen Plus, Aspen Hysys, MATLAB, ANSYS, Python programming, and more, I thrive on solving complex problems. I am eager to learn new skills and improve problem-solving abilities to achieve individual and company goals. I have a strong academic background in Chemical Engineering, with a CGPA of 9.05 from RV College of Engineering, Bengaluru. I have also gained valuable knowledge on sustainability and resource management through internships at Bosch Limited and RV - Centre for Hydrogen and Green Technology Research. I have a strong interest in renewable energy and sustainable technologies. In my current role as a Graduate Engineering Trainee at Reliance Industries Limited, I am working in the C2 LLDPE (Linear low density polyethylene) plant. I am learning about the various processes involved in the production of LLDPE and how to optimize them for efficiency and quality. As a trainee under operations, I have a strong passion for creating and maintaining safe work environments, proven ability to develop and implement safety programs, conduct risk assessments, and train employees on safety procedures and expertise in workplace safety regulations and compliance. In addition to my technical skills, I am also a strong communicator with excellent people skills. I am able to build relationships with people from all walks of life and can work productively in a team environment.
