Qa Localization Tester
CurrentIn my role as a QA Localization Tester at Activision, I ensure the linguistic and functional quality of high-profile game titles across platforms such as XSX, X1, PS5, PS4, PC, iOS, and Android. My responsibilities include:- Performing meticulous QA testing on language assets, identifying and resolving both localization and functional issues pre- and post-integration.- Reviewing text and audio components to ensure cultural and contextual accuracy, optimizing user experience for Arabic-speaking audiences.- Logging detailed bug reports in Jira, focusing on replication, severity, and impact metrics to enhance the development process.- Executing daily regression tests and verification protocols to ensure stability and quality.- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers and linguists, to ensure seamless integration of localized assets.- Utilizing console development kits to perform testing and ensure compatibility across platforms.This role allows me to combine my linguistic expertise with a deep understanding of quality assurance, ensuring that localized content is both technically sound and culturally relevant. Through my proactive approach, I contribute to delivering the highest quality gaming experience for players globally.
