Dariel Solutions is a leading South African software engineering company focusing on bespoke, large scale, line of business systems development, software product development as well as staff sourcing within South Africa’s corporate environment.In my role as portfolio manager, I was responsible for the delivery of services to a portfolio of strategic clients and management of a team of over 30 architects, developers, testers, business analysts and project managers. Furthermore, as an Exco member, I was responsible for the group’s strategy as well as various operational responsibilities which improve our efficiency, profitability and quality of service.

LRMG is a Performance Agency which provides management consulting services, learning and talent management solutions as well as enabling technology implementation which build individual readiness and align workplace performing environments.In my role of Operations Manager, I am responsible for the daily operations and management of my business unit, including the implementation, maintenance, support and contract management of our solutions in approximately 90 Southern African companies spanning SMEs to large multinational corporations. I am also responsible for relationship management and strategic partnerships, taking our solutions to market and the execution of group strategy and alignment within my division.

In June 2005 I began working as a consultant for a company called CUDA Technologies. CUDA Technologies is a local software development house which offers a range of products and services in the Learning, Knowledge and Performance management fields. Initially, my role in this environment was as a consultant addressing needs pertaining to our service offering being; Implementation, Maintenance, Support, Training and Custom Development. Four months into my job with CUDA Technologies, I was promoted to Optimisation Team Lead and started managing a team of 4 consultants. I was now also responsible for business, systems and process analysis within our existing clients and mobilised our team of consultants to execute project plans which I developed and managed. As of October 2006 I became CUDA Technologies' Client and Services Manager. In addition to my Team Leading responsibilities, I now pursue solid leads in organisations which require products/services offered by our company. I conduct and support sales interactions and project manage any resulting deals to ensure customer satisfaction and relationship management. During 2007 CUDA Technologies was bought by the IQ Business Group which exposed our offering to their international channel which positioned me as the channel manager for sales teams in Australia, USA and England.My portfolio of clients includes Standard Bank of South Africa, South African Breweries, Nedbank, Channel Life, ABSA, Destiny Health, Nashua Mobile, Edward Nathan Sonnenbergs, etc.

In 2004 I worked for a company called KnowledgeWorx as a project manager. KnowledgeWorx is an SME at the forefront of skills development in South Africa. The company is spearheading a situation where it acts as the training provider and employer for 200 learners in an IT industry learnership. I managed the development of a Learnership Management System and was in charge of training and development of 20 learners. My duties and responsibilities ranged from facilitation, compilation of materials and assessing, to the full range of Systems Development Life Cycle activities including planning, analysis, design, development and implementation. I communicated and reported my progress, suggestions and challenges to all levels of the organization including Learners, Representatives, COO, CEO, SETA and in some cases DOL (Department Of Labour)
