With an experience of more than twelve years in the publishing industry, I have a reasonable exposure to acquisitions of authors and imprints (Print, Digital, Custom and DLP), sales and marketing, academics and the dynamics of various organizations. I qualified the Executive Programme for Sales and Marketing (EPSM) course of Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIMC) in 2010. I have done my research and projects in areas like competition studies, value creation and competitive advantages. • Consultant business head- HEP of Trinity Press (Formerly Macmillan India’s Higher Education Programme) since May 2013. • Played an instrumental role in the acquisition of Macmillan India’s Higher Education Programme by LPPL under the brand name Trinity Press. • Launched Carvinowledge Press (CNP India) in December 2009 and established it as one of the most popular brands in CA/CS/CMA book publishing. Recently, Carvinowledge Press joined hands with LexisNexis India (A Reed Elsevier Company) to publish book for all professional examinations under a joint publishing agreement. • Worked with Thomson Learning as Regional Head (East India, Bangladesh and Bhutan) and with Macmillan as Commissioning Editor.• Worked with Laxmi Publications Pvt.
