1: Conducted and reported research on Women in Microfinance in Afghanistan, which was shared with US Afghan Women’s Council and the Afghan Women’s Chamber of Commerce to increase the funding for Microfinance activities for Afghan women in Afghanistan. 2. Reported on DC based thank tanks events about Afghanistan.3. Helped the political section of the embassy with their day to day work.

Participated in a 4-month team evaluation of the International Rescue Committee’s (IRC) foodsecurity program in Sacramento, with a specific focus on developing evaluation tools such as surveys, interviews, focus groups, direct observation rubrics, literature review, and presentation of a final report.

I maintained up-to-date documentation of communication materials including publications, human-interest stories, public statement and press releases, photographs, audio-visual materials, including a list press contacts and articles written about the university or by those affiliated with the university. Also, I identified and developed content for the university website, including liaising with students, faculty and staff to collect content for web stories, and also prepare success stories for USAID and other donors. likewise, I represented the university in internal and external fundraising events.

Trained US Embassy Scholars on AUAF policies, procedures, and resolution of issues that created barriers to learning. Also managed mentor/mentee group events, mentor support groups, and program recognition events.I also facilitated Mentor Workshop series that focused on topics such as women in public space, coping with university life, time management, and career development.
