I am pursuing a Master's in Applied Physics at the University of Oregon, specializing in Optical Materials and Devices. I hope to find intriguing and boundary-pushing work in the field of optics during the internship portion of my degree. Outside of physics, I have been running audio production for Artistic Encounters and working as the Assistant Manager at Sprout City Studios.In my free time, I visit my little sister, volunteer to help with scuba classes at the university, ski, hike, and enjoy the outdoors. I have additional hobbies in website design and coding. I have spent three years improving these skills outside my formal college education with Codecademy.After finishing the master's program with the Knight Campus at the University of Oregon, my goal is to work on groundbreaking research, development, and deployment of optical technologies. I am interested in the defense industry, quantum computers, aerospace, metrology, and consumer products.
