Responsibilities:- Plans overall development and administration of the Agency as set forth in the Conditions of Participation and/or applicable state regulations under the direction of the Board of Directors and the Advisory Board- Develops administrative policies and procedures relating to the Agency- Directs installation of improved work methods and procedures to ensure achievement of objectives of the program- Reviews and evaluates existing policies and procedures by means of periodic studies- Coordinates and integrates the total Agency activities through regular conferences with department supervisors- Interprets and transmits policy to the Board of Directors, Advisory Committee and supervisory staff to ensure compliance with policies- Develops standards and methods of measurement of Agency activity and coordinates the annual program evaluation- Prepares an effective yearly budget and accounting system in cooperation with the Budget Committee and Board of Directors- Approves monthly expenditures, co-signs checks as needed, and monitors the financial position of the Agency- Acts as Chairperson for the Advisory Committee, or appoints same- Prepares reports on Agency activity for the Board of Directors and Advisory Committee- Determines organizational lines of authority and fixes areas of responsibility- Employs qualified personnel and ensures adequate staff evaluations - Approves all salary increases and staff promotions in cooperation with division directors

Read prescription, measure arterial blood gases, and review patient information to assess patient condition. Work as part of a team of physicians, nurses and other health care professionals to manage patient care.
