I am a bilingual (English and Cantonese) Practicing Kinesiologist and a member in good standing with the BC Association of Kinesiologists. I graduated High Honours from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Kinesiology. My first-hand experience with sport-related injuries has reinforced my passion and purpose in helping my clients achieve optimal function so they can return to activities meaningful for them. I have a special interest in active rehabilitation and injury prevention for acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, with experience working in both community and clinical settings.Through individualized exercise prescriptions relevant to my clients’ goals, I aim to enhance movement quality and competence through evidence-based interventions. I firmly believe in the importance of working collaboratively with my clients so that they feel empowered to take ownership of their health. My goal is for my clients to leave each session with new knowledge and a better understanding of themselves, such that they can continually see progress and exceed even their own expectations.I utilize my educational background in clinical biomechanics and exercise psychology and adopt a client-centred approach to create an environment that is goal-oriented, adaptable, and supportive. I am a Certified Personal Trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and an FRC® Mobility Specialist (FRCms).My active lifestyle has facilitated a passion for all things health and well-being related. In my spare time, you can find me exploring different hiking trails with my dog, riding my road bike, playing tennis, or doing burpees at a CrossFit gym.
