- Leading and develop a team of SQM engineers- Functional responsibility for the defined staff, supplier, components and services- Centralized sourcing, qualification, introduction and release of mechanical componentsaccording PLC and APQP incl.handover to the SQM SP with focus on suppliers,development locations and plants.- Implement a continuous improvement process of all supplier quality related processes,guidelines and tools by intern audits, on site assessments, benchmarking and best practicesharing programs- Maintain a data evaluation and reporting system for all supplier quality related keyperformance indicators (KPI's).- Plan, initiate and control failure prevention orientated, advanced quality managementmeasures in the design / development phase for supplied parts and services (FeasibilityCommitment, Project Reviews, Run & Rate, Safe Launch Concept, and Quality Control Planetc.)to ensure that our products meet the defined quality requirements.- Implement and control the support of the cross-functional supplier selection team withrequired quality data

Work in international and multidisciplinary teams including e.g. Engineering, Project Management, Advanced Purchasing, BU and local departments, Customer Quality, logistics, Category SQM and Purchasing departmentsPlan, initiate, implement and control the appropriate supplier quality assurance measures along the complete process chain in the make / market phase for PLD componentsPerforming supplier visits, meetings and VDA6.3 audits, Preparation and perfoming management meeting with supplier, Responsibility for Supplier Improvement Programs within the Category

Centralized sourcing, qualification, introduction and release of various plastic components, suppliers, technologies and manufacturing processes with focus on preventive involvement already during development phase.Advanced quality management measures in the design and qualification phases for complex plastic parts ensure that the products meet the defined quality requirements, e.g. Make or Buy, Maturity Evaluation, SCR, Feasibility Commitment, APQP, Project Reviews, Run & Rate, Safe Launch Concept, Quality Control Plan etc.
