Teaching a new generation of artists the art of entrepreneurship.

It is my task to transform this company into an effective organisation that creates, develops and manages spin-off companies of Technical University of Liberec. Our goal is to bring scientific discoveries into real life. We aim to help our scientists reach customers across the globe with their innovative ideas and technologies.

Student Business Club focuses on improving entrepreneurial spirit at Technical university of Liberec. We organise workshops, lectures and a start-up competition for students of our university. My task is to coordinate and manage this project.

As a part of the ROLIZ project, key activity 9, I am a member of a team that is responsible for developing and improving three main areas of human resource management at our university: employee onboarding, satisfaction and performance evaluation. We created a "Handbook for new employees" as well as a "Handbook for new PhD students". We conducted several employee satisfaction survey at our faculties and provided a manual on how to work wit the results. Lastly, we developed an online platform for employee performance evaluation as well as a manual and an e-learning course focusing on this subject.

I am improving technology transfer at TUL with the specific aim of bringing into life our very first spin-off company.

As a PhD candidate I was both a student as well as an aspiring academician, researcher and project manager. I taught classes focused on management, human resources and entrepreneurship. I did my own research, lead my own projects as well as cooperate on research and projects of my colleagues.

This CRP project focused on building a university career platform for students Job.tul.cz. We cooperated with four other universities on building a common functional core that will serve each university's needs. My task was to assist with project administration and communicate with external subjects in our TUL team.

My job was to support i&i Prague in bringing three research projects from Technical University of Liberec to commercial success. During the three months we went beyond the three projects and managed to create a concept of spin-off creation at TUL.

Helping students improve their chances in the labour market.

Erasmus+ KA2 Strategic Partnership project: SMEs HRM Attraction, Retention and Performance Enhancement Network (SHARPEN).This project focuses on integrating Small and Medium Sized entreprises into discussions about Human Resource Management. We aim to educate future graduates of 5 European universities on HR in SMEs and provide SMEs with helpful materials about HR management.

During this internship I have been involved in setting up a new business, which aims to deliver specialised sports equipment in a new and exciting way in the near future. My responsibilities involved many things connected to starting a business from contacting potential suppliers, doing market research and aiding in other marketing efforts to giving aid to the founders with taxes, finances and attracting investors.

I occasionally translate from English to Czech and vice versa. I've helped translate variety of documents and texts including a technical operating manual and a web system. I've also attended a court hearing, where I translated between a barrister and his client. In addition, I have tutored several individuals in English language.
