And it is my mission to do so.Innovator: I am responsible for the creation of new technologies revolving around ease of entry, ease of closure (securing to the foot), and adaptation. I have the freedom to think creatively to solve problems I get to identify from athlete/consumer discussion and insights. This creativity must stay between the holistic strategy of of the brand and the business while pushing forward to the future.Product developer: I'm responsible for converting a project brief and a 2D design rendering into a 3D sample (an actual shoe) that meets the needs of the team and the consumer while managing sampling and prototyping across all categories. I actively participate in meetings with Product Creation during all phases of the development process and execute the decision making process that leads to on-time product confirmation, under budget product and on-time delivery. I help plan and execute development according to critical dates and I ensure manufacturability of product concepts and utilize footwear knowledge and tools to effectively and appropriately achieve project objectives. I work on new creation from concept to the consumer, all the while keeping the consumer and the business as my number one priorities. My days consist on prioritizing and being as efficient with the/my process as possible. Occasionally, I am tasked with project management to the fullest, traveling overseas to the factories to ensure the product is done correct in very little time.
