: I was tasked with 1st and 2nd line support and was also tasked with various IT development projects during my tenure. I learnt how to multi task and work in a small high performance team supporting over 40 different IT systems to over 1,500 employees world wide.Knowledge accrued: Learnt how to support various in house as well as off the shelf products such as WinXP, Windows 7, Sun Vision, Nimsoft, ProductView and Numara Trackit software. I was able to learn about AS400 systems support and programming. Learnt how to manage Citrix server systems, Database servers, Domain Servers, DNS servers, Licensing servers, Fortigate Firewalls, WSUS servers and other various servers running on Microsoft Windows Server 2003,2008 platform. Learnt how to develop and run a global network monitoring system. Besides this during the tenure of the various projects I have learnt how to manage vendors, work to complete projects on schedule and work effectively in a team. All support work was done either via telephone or face to face with the client. I was trained in how to deal and appease clients and ensure that they were satisfied with problem resolutions and ensured that problems were resolved properly.
